Meet Raqwin

Prior to co-founding Walton & Young, PC, RaQwin worked for a firm in Parker, Colorado, specializing in estate planning, family law, and bankruptcy. RaQwin moved to Colorado after working in Washington, D.C., on class action litigation matters, and spending two years as a United States Legal Consultant for an international law firm in San José, Costa Rica, gaining experience in international business, employment, and real estate law. Florida has also served as RaQwin’s home and is where she began her legal career.

Working in different geographies with a diverse set of clients and colleagues has given RaQwin a great appreciation for the uniqueness of each legal matter presented, and has provided valuable experience in tailoring her legal services to address clients’ specific needs and goals. RaQwin is licensed in both Florida and Colorado, and is honored for the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills she has gained from her broad experiences to her practice at Walton & Young.

Educationally, RaQwin graduated with honors from Florida State University’s College of Law in 2012. During law school, she was a law clerk for a civil litigation firm and a member of the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. RaQwin also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University.

RaQwin grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, playing soccer and spending the summers working on her family’s farm. After living and working in various cities along the East Coast and abroad, she is delighted to call Colorado home. RaQwin values community engagement and currently serves as a Co-Chair for the Golden Young Professionals organization and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Golden Chamber of Commerce. Besides participating in community involvement activities, RaQwin enjoys spending her spare time hiking beautiful trails, meeting friends for yoga, reading, and trying new recipes.
